| Description of the genus | Ninety-five species are found in tropical America. We have more than 20 species in Panama. Very beautiful flowers in many species open only a few hours. Many flowers bloom at the same day. S. fuzukiae was found in Chiriqui grande and named after Miss Fuzuki Miura.The photos shown were taken in Tokyo and Nagoya. |
