本属はコスタリカからペルーに分布する着生種である。扁平な偽球茎に1から2葉を頂生する。花は扁平で、唇弁は大きく基部にカルスを持つ。
This genus is an epiphyte distributed from Costa Rica to Peru. Somewhat flattened pseudo bulb has one or two leaves. The flowers are flat and the lip is large with basal callus.
Este género es epifitos que se distibuye desde Costa Rica hasta Peru. Tiene de una a dos hojas en cada pseudo bulbo. La flor es plana y tiene gran labelo con callos en la base.
Miltoniopsis roezlii
パナマ、コロンビア西部に分布。唇弁は基部が細く、くびれは無い。普通花弁基部に赤紫色の斑紋がある。エルバジェに多い。
Distributed through Panama and west of Colombia. The lip is tapered at base and not constricted above. Generally there are purple spots at the base of petals. Famous in El Valle de Anton.
Se distribuye desde Panamá hasta el oeste de Colombia. El labelo se hace fino en la base y no hay estrechamiento en medio. Generalmente tiene manchas púrpuras en la base de los petalos. Muy famosa en El Valle de Antón.
Miltoniopsis warscewiczii
コスタリカ、パナマに分布する。唇弁の形がバイオリン形でくびれる。
Distributed through Panama and Costa Rica. The lip is in fiddle-shape.
